Women’s Masters Network (WMN) hosted an inaugural Informational Volunteer Happy Hour Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at Light Years Natural Wine Shop and Bar. Attendees mixed and mingled with current and past board members while learning more about the organization and discovering how they can contribute their time to the diverse and empowering organization.

Volunteering opportunities in membership, marketing/communications, and events were discussed in the funky and inviting bar. “It’s great to see so many new faces interested in our organization. It’s proof that there is a demand for organizations like ours who provide opportunities to develop personally and professionally,” said Emily Clark, marketing director.

In addition to the volunteer opportunities of the organization, the future plans of this organization were discussed. Hami Arrington, President-Elect stated “This year was about setting our foundation and getting us set up for next year. We are planning big things for 2020, which is why we’re hosting this event. We want our members and supporters to know our plans and give them opportunities to be involved.” Before the evening was over two lucky raffle winners received motivational reads!
