We had a wonderful virtual webinar hosted by EnergyGigs featuring Joselyn Lai, CEO of Bedrock Energy, who discussed her startup company, Bedrock Energy, the application of geothermal energy, and her journey as an entrepreneur.

Joselyn is an entrepreneur who has launched, grown, invested in, and advised enterprise technology ventures across sectors, including urban mobility, sustainable agriculture, workforce development, and civic engagement. In collaboration with a 15-year O&G industry veteran, she is now building Bedrock Energy, a startup that is re-engineering oilfield technology to make shallow geothermal energy a widely scalable way for cities to become carbon-free, save money, and improve the health of citizens. In the past 8 years, she has built companies across all stages from inception and Seed up through Series B, C, and acquisition, and her experience in sustainability & startups has spanned the United States and Latin America. Joselyn was previously a strategy consultant with Bain & Company, primarily focused on industrial M&A in the Private Equity Group and the Energy and Healthcare practices. She received her BA in Economics from Harvard University, with a research focus on sustainable agriculture.
